The ego self is the decision-maker of our physical body and is primarily concerned with survival. It masters coping mechanisms and tries to protect us in any situation or experience. However, we all have inner personalities that emerge in different environments and among different people. Certain traumatic encounters can lead to the development of multiple personalities within oneself. These personalities grow as we age, and the more they are fed, the more evident they become. Extreme traits and behaviours may start to show up, almost as though the person is possessed or being taken over. Inner personality issues can manifest in multiple ways, including multiple personality disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, chronic mania, cyclothymia, borderline personality disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, anxiety, ADHD, anger issues, and sex addictions. By understanding and addressing these inner personalities, individuals can work towards healing and finding balance in their lives. It's important to seek professional help if you are experiencing any of these issues to get the support and treatment needed to lead a fulfilling life.
